The Cyrix-ct 120A is an intelligent microprocessor-controlled heavy-duty relay that automatically connects batteries in parallel when one of them reaches a preset voltage (charging) and disconnects them when the voltage drops (discharging). It is the perfect zero-loss alternative to traditional diode isolators.
Key Features:
Intelligent Voltage Monitoring: The Cyrix-ct senses the voltage trend and prevents unnecessary switching caused by short voltage peaks or temporary drops.
No Voltage Loss: Direct connection means near-zero loss, so there is no need to increase the alternator or charger output voltage.
Priority for the Starter Battery: It ensures the starter battery is charged first. Only when it is sufficiently full are the other batteries connected.
Bidirectional Sensing: It measures voltage on both battery banks. It will engage even if the domestic battery is being charged by a separate charger or solar panel.
Start Assist: In case of emergency, a push button can be used to manually engage the batteries for 30 seconds to help start the engine.
Overheating Protection: Automatically disconnects in case of excessive contact temperature and reconnects after cooling down.
