The Victron Orion-Tr isolated DC-DC converter is a reliable solution for creating a 12V output voltage from another 12V source, such as a starter or service battery. Flexible Application: The adjustable output voltage allows the converter to be used as a battery charger. For instance, to charge a 12V starter or accessory battery in a 24V vehicle system.
Switchable and Parallel: All models are short-circuit proof and can be connected in parallel to increase the output power. An unlimited number of units can be linked in this way.
Remote On/Off Switch: A remote on/off switch eliminates the need for a high-power switch in the input wiring. The device can be operated with a low-power switch or, for example, a vehicle's ignition switch.
Temperature Protection: The converter's output current will automatically decrease in high ambient temperatures to prevent overheating.
