Akotherm Insulation (Basic) | Thermal and Acoustic Perfection

Akotherm Basic is the modern, healthy choice to replace traditional mineral wool types (glass and rock wool). This high-quality product offers excellent thermal insulation and superior sound absorption without the drawbacks of itching or irritation.

The material is made from $100\%$ recyclable polyester fibers and is extremely skin-friendly. Contact with the fibers does not cause allergic reactions, skin irritation, or breathing problems. The material is dust-free, contains no chemical binders, and is moisture- and heat-resistant from $-30\text{ °C}$ to $120\text{ °C}$.

You can use Akotherm for thermal insulation or as effective filling in cavities.

Mounting tips
Use Canect CA36 spray adhesive for attaching Akotherm plates and any upholstery. Akotherm can be easily cut to size with a ceramic knife. Akotherm is mounted with the soft side against the surface so that the solid side becomes the visible side. With sufficient glue, the panel will adhere directly to the substrate.
