The Rhiwa Easy Aero BASIC roof ventilator is an innovative ventilation solution for commercial vans, delivery vehicles and box vans. Its aerodynamic push-pull design combines fresh air intake and stale air extraction through two openings in the vehicle roof.
The Easy Aero BASIC operates using airflow while driving and requires no electrical connection. Its mechanical design has no rotating parts, helping to keep maintenance requirements low.
With an external height of just 55 mm, this roof ventilator is particularly suitable for modern commercial vehicles, including electric vans.
Important: The foam sealing gasket is already included and does not need to be purchased separately. The electric expansion module, any required headliner adapter and roof-cutting tools are not included.
Actual airflow varies with vehicle speed and installation conditions. Continuous active ventilation cannot be guaranteed when the vehicle is stationary without sufficient airflow.
The Rhiwa Easy Aero uses two separate aerodynamic air channels. While driving, one channel guides fresh outside air into the vehicle, while the other extracts stale air from the cargo compartment.
This creates air exchange without an electric fan motor or an additional floor opening.
Many conventional wind-driven roof ventilators require a separate air inlet, often fitted in the vehicle floor.
The Easy Aero BASIC is different: both intake and extraction take place through the roof. This eliminates the need for a separate floor vent for this ventilation function.
The design is particularly useful for electric vans and vehicles with cables or sensitive components beneath the cargo floor.
Installation requires two Ø90 mm roof openings. Use the supplied drilling template to ensure accurate positioning.
Installation note: Make sure the supplied foam gasket fits the roof shape correctly. Ribbed or highly uneven roof surfaces may require additional adjustment.
Because both ventilation functions are integrated into the roof unit, no separate floor opening is needed.
This can simplify installation on electric vans where battery components, cables and other systems may be located beneath the floor.
The Easy Aero BASIC is the mechanical, wind-powered version. If active ventilation is required while stationary, the system can be upgraded using a compatible Easy Aero electric module.
The electric module is sold separately and is not included with this product.
