Installation on your vehicle roof
This ventilation unit is designed for installation on a suitable flat vehicle roof. Standard mounting is intended for roof thicknesses up to 4 mm. The maximum roof opening diameter is 140 mm.
- Choose a suitable installation position on the vehicle roof.
- Check the roof structure, existing wiring and reinforcements.
- Use the supplied template to mark the opening and mounting points.
- Cut the roof opening according to the installation instructions.
- Protect exposed metal edges against corrosion.
- Install and seal the roof unit using the supplied polymer sealant and mounting hardware.
- Finish the interior roof opening with the grey PVC grille.
Installation tip: check compatibility before fitting to ribbed roofs or thicker roof structures. Additional packing or modified mounting may be required. Adequate fresh air intake is important for effective natural ventilation.
